Everyone who comes to Pitch & Praise registers as a member of a youth group. The registration fee covers program, camp site, and meals from Saturday breakfast to Monday lunch. If campers opt out of meals, the price remains the same. Snacks, merchandise and the option of swimming at the Wayne Gretzky Recreational Complex are an additional expense.
Fees:
Early Registration Fee by April 30: $105.00/person
Late Registration Fee after April 30: $125.00/person
Garbage Deposit: $20.00/group (returned when your campsite passes
inspection at the end of the retreat)
Partial Weekend Rates:
We encourage campers to attend for the whole weekend to get the most value from the experience. If that’s not possible, the following rates are used:
$25/half day (arriving after lunch or leaving before lunch)
$45/day (morning to evening)
Example: A student coming on Saturday evening and staying through
Monday would pay $95.00
(Sat. evening @ $25, Sun. @ $45, Mon. at $25)

Payment Options
You will be able to register your group on-line. Otherwise, to confirm your early registrations, you will need to send payment within one week of e-mailing or faxing in your group registration form. Payment can be made by cheque, by faxing in the credit card payment form available here or by calling the registrar with your credit card details. In the event of cancelations, fees paid may be transferred to another camper, or refunded minus a $20.00 cancellation fee.
Accommodation Info
Each church group must provide its own trailers or tents for accommodation on the grounds. Locations will be assigned at final registration on Friday, May 18th. We cannot guarantee access to hydro or water. There are a limited number of dorm-style rooms on the grounds with a maximum of 6 beds/unit. These are available for $50.00/unit but must be reserved by phone or e-mail in advance. Consideration will be given for the distance your group must travel to get to the camp.
Registration Steps for Group Registrars
a. Distribute individual registration forms to everyone in your group.
b. One leader, appointed as your registrar, collects all of the completed registration forms and fees. Cheques from students should be payable to your church.
c. Your registrar may register your group on-line or download the Group Registration Excel spreadsheet from the link in the side bar, fill it in and e-mail it back (fax if necessary). Names received in our office by April 30 will be registered at the early rate. Names received after April 30 will be registered at the late rate.
d. If you are not using the on-line registration option, as soon as your early registrations have been e-mailed in, please send payment to confirm, either by mailing a cheque to Evangelical Missionary Youth, 214 Highland Rd E., Kitchener, ON. N2M 3W2, or by faxing in the credit card payment form. Cheques should be payable to Evangelical Missionary Youth. Your payment should include a $20.00 garbage deposit. This deposit will be returned to you when your campsite has been cleaned and you are ready to leave the retreat.
e. Late registrations should be e-mailed or called in as they come to you. Peggy Wark will handle questions about registration at 519-894-9800 ext.251. You may bring payment for late registrations when you come to Pitch & Praise.
f. Your registrar should bring to the retreat the completed individual registration forms for each person registered, and one cheque to cover the balance owing. When you arrive at the camp only your registrar should report to the registration area to hand in your individual registration forms, pay the balance owing, and receive name tags, schedules, etc. for your group.
