Braeside is conveniently located on East River Road just two miles outside the town of Paris. From the junction of Highway #2 and #5, go north to the Grand River, turn right and proceed one mile to the well-marked gate.
Directions to Braeside Camp from #401 Toronto
- Proceed on 401 West past Milton and Guelph exits. At Cambridge, take the Highway #24 exit - which will be the second Cambridge exit (the first exit will be Townline Road)
- Turn left and come back over the highway. You will driving through a major shopping artery. You will be heading into Cambridge on #24 Highway (called “Hespeler Road”).
- Continue on #24 Highway. When you pass #8 Highway (Dundas street) the road will turn into “Water Street”
- The road splits shortly after #8 so make sure you stay to the right to remain on Water Street
- Proceed through the old part of Cambridge on Water Street (Grand River will be on your right hand side) and back out of town
- You will go past Myers Road and Waynco Road (both on your left)
- Watch for a small fork in the road and bear right onto “East River Road – Glen Morris”
- Remain on East River Road and go through the village of Glen Morris. Just past Blue Lake Road (left hand side) you will go up a hill and Braeside Camp is at the top of the hill on the left hand side.
Directions to Braeside Camp from QEW Toronto
- Proceed on QEW westbound through Oakville & Burlington. Just past Guelph Line exit the road will split - #403 Hamilton will be on your right and QEW Niagara will be on the left – stay right and take #403 Hamilton
- Stay on Highway 403 through Hamilton, Ancaster and Brantford. After you pass the Highway 24 “King George Road” exit in Brantford - take the next exit, which will be “Paris Road”.
- Head toward Paris. There will be a Tim Horton’s on the corner at the 2 nd stoplight. Proceed through the lights about 1.5 km to the end of the road (Paris Road becomes “Green Lane” Road after the lights)
- Turn right at the end of the road onto East River Road and proceed about 1.5 km to Braeside Camp. It will be on your right hand side.
