Everyone who comes to JR Pitch registers as a member of a youth group. The registration fee covers program, camp site, and meals from Saturday breakfast to Sunday lunch. If campers opt out of meals, the price remains the same. Snacks, merchandise, etc. are an additional expense.
Fees:
Early Registration Fee by Sept. 16th: $65.00/person
Late Registration Fee after Sept. 16th: $78.00/person
Garbage Deposit: $20.00/group (returned when your campsite passes
inspection at the end of the retreat)
Registration Forms:
Individual Registration Form - required for each student and leader in your group
Group Registration Form - required for each group
Credit Card Payment Form - optional
Payment Options
There are three ways to pay the registration fees:
1. Pay when you register students online. Online registration is available here.
2. Pay by sending in the credit card payment form available here if you are not using the online registration method.
3. Bring cash or a single cheque with you to JR Pitch.
Accommodation Info
Each church group must provide its own trailers or tents for accommodation on the grounds. Locations will be assigned at final registration on Friday, Sept. 23rd. We cannot guarantee access to hydro or water. There are a limited number of cabins on the grounds normally with 8 beds/unit. These are available for $35.00/unit but must be reserved by phone or e-mail in advance. Consideration will be given for the distance your group must travel to get to the camp if you make your reservation prior to Sept. 6th.
Registration Steps for Group Registrars
a. Distribute individual registration forms to everyone in your group.
b. One leader, appointed as your registrar, collects all of the completed registration forms and fees. Cheques from students should be payable to your church.
c. Your registrar now has 2 options:
A) Register everyone from whom you have collected forms using our on-line registration here.
OR
B) Download the Group Registration Excel spreadsheet from jrpitch.com, fill it in and e-mail it to our registrar. Names received in our office by Sept 16th will be registered at $65/person. Names received after Sept 16th will be registered at $78/person for the weekend.
d. If you did not use the on-line registration method, you may pay the balance owing for your group using the credit card payment form available at jrpitch.com, or bring a cheque or cash with you to the retreat. Cheques should be payable to Evangelical Missionary Youth. Your payment should include a $20.00 garbage deposit. This deposit will be returned to you when your campsite has been cleaned and you are ready to leave the retreat.
e. Late registrations should be e-mailed or called in as they come to you. Peggy Wark will handle questions about registration at jrpitch@emcc.ca or 519-894-9800 ext.251.
f. Your registrar should bring to the retreat the completed individual registration forms for each person registered, and one cheque to cover any balance owing. When you arrive at the camp only your registrar should report to the office to hand in your individual registration forms, pay the balance owing, and receive name tags, schedules, etc. for your group.
